To enhance access to climate-related resources for GME, the editors of JGME have issued a Call for Papers on Climate and GME to be collected in a supplemental issue to be published in late 2024.
In the poster “Bolstering the Rural Physician Workforce in Underserved Communities: Are Rural Residency Planning and Development Programs Finding the Sweet Spot?” Emily M. Hawes, PharmD and her team used data about existing rural residency programs to identify potential sites for future programs. Dr. Hawes answered our questions on behalf of her team.

March 12-14 the ACGME hosted a Summit on Medical Education in Nutrition in collaboration with the American Association of Colleges and Osteopathic Medicine and the Association of American Medical Colleges.

The June 2022 issue of JGME includes the annual New Ideas feature, with short articles on GME innovations that have been implemented at least once, appear to be successful, and can be adopted by others.
