The ACGME proudly announces the retirement of Chief Education Officer and Special Advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer Timothy P. Brigham, MDiv, MS, PhD. Dr. Brigham has been a guiding force in shaping graduate medical education (GME), advancing faculty development, and championing physician well-being for almost two decades.

Former ACGME President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. Nasca, MD, MACP has received the 2025 Special Recognition Award, presented by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), for his nearly two decades leading the ACGME and advancing graduate medical education.

The ACGME is grateful to Dr. Bill McDade for his many contributions to health care and medical education as he concludes six years of service as a member of the ACGME’s Executive Leadership Team. We recognize Bill’s intense dedication, tireless efforts, and outstanding contributions to both medicine and society.

The ACGME is pleased to introduce Paige E. Manz, MBA as its new Chief of Staff, effective today, and following a national search. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Paige will report to ACGME President and CEO Debra F. Weinstein, MD, and work directly with her to oversee, prioritize, and facilitate key organizational projects and processes in collaboration with ACGME Department Chiefs.
