Ms. King serves as the Vice President, Human Resources, overseeing all aspects of people and pay management; and as executive staff to the Compensation Committee of the ACGME Board of Directors, contributing to executive compensation oversight. Ms. King is a strategic business partner to the ACGME Executive Leadership Team on matters relating to culture transformation, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning.

Prior to joining the ACGME in 2024, Ms. King served as the Chief People Officer for the American Dental Association, and as the Chief Talent Officer and Information Technology Interim Director for the 11 K-8 college preparatory schools developed and managed by the LEARN Charter School Network in Chicago, Illinois. During this time, Ms. King completed a fellowship in education management with the Broad Center at the Yale School of Management.

Before beginning her non-profit career, Ms. King completed more than 20 years in the middle market financial services and transportation sectors. She alternated between serving as a new business underwriter and financial analyst, and serving in a succession of senior Human Resources strategic business partner roles. Ms. King currently serves as the Chair of the Asset and Liability Committee for the Board of Directors of a major regional Credit Union, and as a member of the Board of the Chicago High School of the Arts. Ms. King completed her Masters in organization behavior with a minor in market research at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
