Mousumi Som, DO, MS, FACOI

Dr. Som is a professor of internal medicine and the vice chair of the Internal Medicine Department at Oklahoma State University (OSU). She graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center with her DO and master’s in clinical research and education in 2006. She completed her residency in internal medicine in 2009 at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. She has been a faculty member in internal medicine since 2009 at OSU.

She was the past program director of internal medicine at OSU and transitioned the program from American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to ACGME accreditation. She serves as the designated institutional official of OSU Center for Health Sciences/Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma (OMECO). 

Dr. Som is board certified in internal medicine and was named a Fellow in 2013 by the American College of Osteopathic Internists. She has served across a variety of organizations involved in medical education, including the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME), AOA, and the Osteopathic Founders Foundation (OFF).
